Basic Needlework: Hardanger Plus

Evelyn Gant will cover the basic stitches used
in Hardanger cutwork embroidery; including kloster blocks, woven bars and
doves eyes, to mention a few. During this class students will also survey
other counted thread techniques like Drawnwork, Pulled thread, Blackwork,
Counted cross stitch and Schwalm embroidery. Students will be working on
cotton and linen counted thread fabrics. Some people might find that they
need to use a magnifying glass for this class. |
