I've just become interested in Schwalm embroidery. It is also called
Hessenstickerei, Hessen embroidery, and German white on white embroidery.
My searches on the web didn't find a resource page, so I thought I would put one
together with what I have found so far.
To the left you will find links to a bibliography of Schwalm resources,
events that involve Schwalm, and
stores that stock materials needed for Schwalm. Please let me know if you
have any additions or corrections.
Here are some online resources for Schwalm embroidery. For those sites
available only in German, I use
Alta Vista's Babel Fish
or Google's
Language Tools to read them.
