San Diego is the home of about a million people. It located in southern California right on the Pacific Ocean. The weather is temperate year-round, so there is plenty to do outdoors. Balboa Park in the heart of the city is home to a wonderful array of museums and the San Diego Zoo -- one of the best zoos in the world. There is lovely Coronado in the San Diego Bay with the famous Hotel Del Coronado (the location where Some Like It Hot was filmed). The military has a large presence in San Diego and naval ships, including aircraft carriers, are often in the San Diego Bay. Of course, you can't board them but you can look at them.
