For RECORDER participants:
Please use this ARS guide to determine your skill level.
_____ I play at least one recorder.
_____ I know all natural fingerings in the first octave and a half, as well as F # and B flat.
_____ I can play pieces in one sharp or flat in 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, or 6/8 time.
_____ I have some experience in playing with at least one other person.
_____ I play both C and F fingered instruments.
_____ I know all the natural fingerings and most sharps and flats in the first two octaves.
_____ I can read up an octave on the alto.
_____ I can play music in 2/2 and 6/4 time as well as syncopations in more common time signatures.
_____ I can provide simple percussion accompaniment to dance tunes.
_____ I can play SATB recorders.
_____ I know all fingerings in the standard range of the recorder.
_____ I can read alto clef and play tenor recorder reading the bass clef.
_____ I can play music without bar lines.
_____ I can play complex rhythms in all time signatures.
